We are seeking a Director of Information Technology to join our dynamic Management Services team at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers. The ideal candidate must live in Minnesota, as this position will work a hybrid model of in office and remote work.
The Director of Information Technology provides leadership, vision and management for Information Technology initiatives and activities across the organization. This senior leadership position advises Saint Therese’s IT Steering Committee and is responsible for the execution of the organization’s IT strategic plan; leads an information technology team in its charge to provide, operate, and maintain a secure and reliable network infrastructure that supports a broad array of information systems and services made available to Saint Therese residents and team members. The Director of Information Technology prepares and manages the organization’s IT annual and capital budget plan, recommends technical acquisitions, conducts strategic planning, executes tactical actions, and is responsible for operational decision-making for meeting the strategic objectives of Saint Therese.

Location Information
We have four senior communities in Minnesota including Brooklyn Park, Corcoran, Shoreview, and Woodbury; a campus in Monroe, Michigan, and our partnership with St. Mary of the Woods in Avon, Ohio. All communities are rich with thoughtful amenities and support. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field required.
Experience:
Five years or more experience in IT environments with large scale information systems, in multisite healthcare settings. Five years or more experience in management/leadership of information technology team members. Demonstrated expertise in overseeing the implementation and maintenance of electronic health records (EHR) systems. Experience in developing and executing disaster recovery and business continuity plans in healthcare settings.Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Expert in troubleshooting and resolving problems with Microsoft, Linux, and proprietary operating systems, Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, WAN/LAN networks, telephone communications, business intelligence, PSA & RMM tools, client/server technology, Internet/intranet, clinical and life safety systems typical to a senior living and healthcare environment.
Strong leadership and management skills; Able to function well as part of the organization’s leadership team, communicating and interacting proactively and professionally across all levels of the organization to ensure operational and strategic needs are being met. Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA & PCI compliance and data security standards. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a proven track record of delivering IT projects on time and within budget. Ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value and services for the organization. Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in healthcare IT, and the ability to evaluate and integrate new solutions to enhance operational efficiency and patient care. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective strategies and solutions. Ability to lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Able to perform leadership functions including hiring and selection, orienting and training, managing performance, disciplinary action and recommending the termination of employees. Able to understand, administer, and comply with employment policies and procedures. Establish, document, and communicate clear performance expectations and standards. Evaluate, communicate, and hold employees accountable for job performance and organizational behavior standards. Ability to understand and maintain confidential nature of organization and client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and corporate compliance standards, including appropriate access of data maintained across the organization’s information systems. Salary: $120,000 - $160,000, based on experience
