As a Director of Infrastructure Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Employee Platform’s Collaboration and Communication team, you will be responsible for managing the TSE team for the Voice and Business Collaboration towers, leading a large global team and using your advanced technical knowledge to resolve complex issues. You will also be responsible for managing vendor engagements, including SaaS, partnering with them to ensure reliability and strong customer support for the services they provide.

Manages technical areas within infrastructure engineering, collaborates with others across different technical areas, and anticipates the needs of multiple disciplines within the functionManages and implements corporate and divisional operational plans and provides broad direction to teams, team leads, and supervisorsManages key senior stakeholders and ensures teams deliver in accordance with compliance standards, risk and security, service level agreements, and business requirementsDrives multiple complex projects, processes, and initiativesDevelops and executes the function’s objectives with accountability for outcomesBe responsible for staffing, budget, and relevant profit and lossMentors and coaches junior engineers and technologistsChampions the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, respect for team members and prioritizes diverse representation  

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertiseExperience managing cross-functional teams of infrastructure engineersExperience hiring, developing, and recognizing talentExtensive knowledge of hardware aligned to infrastructure engineering Knowledge of observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, GrafanaExposure to managing and developing budgets

Knowledge of Voice (SBC, Cisco, Zoom), Trader Voice (Unigy, Turrets) and Capture (NTRX) products
