Director of IT
The Director IT roles are leadership roles at Greenway Health, responsible for managing cloud IT and day to day operations of the services which enable solutions to Greenway Customers. This is an enterprise-grade solutions offered to customers across geographies, on cloud, with 24x7 service level commitments. This role leads Service Provisioning, Application Support & Database operations across various products and solutions. As a leader in this role, you will be responsible for hiring, retaining and growing the team. This also includes matrix reporting responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with global leaders and teams across geographies. Essential Duties & Responsibilities + Create, monitor and report project performance, managing project resources and timeline to ensure on-time delivery without sacrificing high quality standards + Identify risk areas and provide alternate strategies to address concerns + Provide appropriate, timely and satisfactory resolution to issues identified during the project cycle + Deliver cross organization liaison and communications to ensure full understanding of all teams impacted by project + Ensure assigned resources have a full understanding of work effort, expectations and timelines + Promote, utilize and contribute to knowledge transfer forums + Build and maintains internal client relationships + Develop process improvement strategies to better streamline the Project Manager activities along with implementing process improvements to project delivery + Escalate & develop proposals around issues that would impact project deliverables + Independently manage significant issues and projects of a unique nature, with little existing process currently in place Experience and Education + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. + Twelve (12)+ years overall IT experience, with a proven track record in leading complex organizations and networks. + Proven experience with cloud-based service delivery compliance standards (e.g., SSAE 16 SOC2, PCI, ISO 27001, HIPAA), and Cloud Monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch. + Preferred certifications include AWS, GCP, AZURE, MCSE, RHCE, ITIL. + Solid technical background in Linux/Unix, web technologies, networking, database technologies, storage management (SAN and NAS), x86 server technologies, and other relevant IT infrastructure components. + Familiarity with infrastructure and application monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Opsgenie, Graylog, ELK stack. + Working experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the ability to manage projects with zero downtime. + Strong understanding and experience with DevOps technologies like Chef, Ansible, and Python. + Proficiency in Storage Area Network (SAN), high availability, and disaster recovery architecture. + Background in ITIL service management, including configuration, change, and incident management, capacity management, performance management, and disaster recovery. + Solid technical background in Linux/Unix, web technologies, networking, database technologies, storage management (SAN and NAS), x86 server technologies, and other relevant IT infrastructure components. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities + Ability to define and measure KPIs and prioritize tasks effectively. + Proven ability to manage large teams, with a focus on SCRUM methodologies and cost/efficiency improvement. + Responsible for all day-to-day Global service delivery of Application & Database Services and Support Build high performance Cloud Operations team. + Collaborate with Global Business Units leaders to define the vision, strategy, and technical roadmap of each solution. + Define and execute annual patching & upgrade plan. + Enhance team competencies to support discrete DB technologies, DevOps Skills, SRE best practices, Terraform/ansible skills towards automation, establish partnership with other cross-functional leads across Application, infrastructural and Development teams. + Lead our IT Infrastructure team, driving technology transformation initiatives for Compute, Storage, and strategic projects like IaaS, PaaS, AI/ML, and DevOps. + Develop and execute Greenway Health's Cloud strategy, emphasizing standardization, virtualization, and automation for enhanced performance and efficiency. + Deliver top-notch infrastructure engineering solutions, emphasizing automation, continuous improvement, and preventive maintenance to ensure system stability. + Identify opportunities for cost savings, consolidation, and service quality improvements within the Cloud Infrastructure. + Manage IT resource scaling to accommodate fluctuations in usage demands and ensure optimal performance. + Foster a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) culture within the infrastructure team and support teams. + Oversee 24x7 support operations, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) through Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management. Manage the IT budget, monitor execution, and report on budget status against the plan. + Implement capacity management and supply/demand processes based on existing and future project requirements. + Evaluate and manage vendor partnerships, including negotiations for IT-related procurements. + Collaborate with customers to showcase the strength of our SaaS IT & Security during sales calls and assist in RFP responses. + Regularly review and audit the performance of System Integrators and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) partners. + Work closely with the security team to deploy secure IT Infrastructure for both internal and customer projects. + Coordinate with the Disaster Recovery Manager to implement policies and procedures for Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery.
