Summary/Objective: Leadership Development Directors are responsible for bringing to life the Lippert Culture throughout the part of the organization they support. They partner with functional leadership to effectively integrate and develop leadership and culture at every layer of the organization, with intent to help drive the business and culture forward. Using the Lippert Leadership Development model, they work to develop individuals, teams, and business to achieve their full potential, through the lens of our Core Values and Leader Qualities. There is a heavy emphasis on the engagement and development of leaders at the executive, divisional, and frontline levels, where they serve as a trainer, coach, and trusted advisor to our business leaders. They provide assessment, evaluation, and accountability of key leaders and teams for developmental growth. They work as part of a global Leadership Development team to bring varied expertise and function to the overall strengthening of Lippert. The role’s effectiveness and relevance are measured through influence built and impact on the individuals and teams with whom they work. They help maintain the organizational health of the teams they support, keeping our organizational identity alive in those within their span of care: our vision to make Business a Force for Good and our mission to build meaningful relationships with our customers, our co-workers, and our communities! They lead a small team of development professionals in the execution of department initiatives; collaborate with other Culture & Leadership teams to ensure alignment of all people and culture activities; and partner closely with operational/functional leaders and HR to help drive the business. Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Partner with business leaders to bring to life and operationalize the core elements of Culture & Leadership Development at Lippert in the countries/teams you support, including: Leadership Development, Personal Development, Corporate & Community Impact, and Chaplaincy. Develop and deliver Leadership Development content in a variety of formats, including digital, classroom, off-sites, one-on-one, etc. There are strong facilitation and coaching components to this role, and you should be comfortable working with all levels of leaders and team members, from the C-suite to the frontlines. Provide 1:1 leadership coaching to every layer of leadership in the organization to lead Self, Team, and Business to new levels. Guide the implementation and execution of department initiatives within the teams/divisions you support, helping lead a small team of people development professionals. Conduct yourself at the highest level in accordance with the corporate core values and coach Lippert leadership at all levels to model these values in demonstrated practice. Build relationships of trust at all levels of the business. Confidentiality in all individual interactions. Candor in all individual and team interactions is required. Develop and maintain strong, positive coaching relationships through effective communication in all forms (verbal, written, etc.). Provide direction and inspiration to all levels of company leadership regarding personal growth/development and team growth/development. Assist the divisional leadership team in evaluation and effectiveness of training initiatives by developing surveys, conducting focus groups, and utilizing other resources for research. Conduct yourself as a champion for Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives within the organization. Continue self-development and learning to share with and sharpen the Culture & Leadership Development team. Must continue offering development relevance to the organization for continued growth. Partner with the Culture & Leadership Development teams to ensure organizational alignment, while establishing cultural relevancy in each of the locations you support. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years of experience leading a team and/or developing leaders, teams and organizations. Proven experience developing content, facilitating groups, and conducting 1:1 coaching Competencies: Reflects the essence of a Lippert Leader, with capability to lead Self, Team, and Business in a manner that aligns with Core Values and Leader Qualities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to communicate with and engage the hearts and minds of team members at every layer of the organization. Strong knowledge, proficiency, and experience in content creation, customization, and facilitation for the development of all leadership levels. Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to coach and motivate people to achieve goals. Strong background in personal, leadership, team, and organizational development. Understanding of adult learning methods. Strong computer software skills including Microsoft Suite (especially PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Excel). Ability to independently establish strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with all levels of leadership across the organization. Ability to facilitate engaging training sessions and conduct one-on-one and small group coaching. Self-motivated and possess high level of personal initiative. High level of creativity; ability to evaluate and address needs of team members. Must maintain a high level of energy, able to effectively facilitate multiple projects at once. Strong organizational and project management skills. Supervisory Responsibility: This position will have supervisory responsibility. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. requires standing, walking. May be exposed to prolong sitting in front of a computer screen. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend, travel, and overnight work is also necessary. Travel: Potential 40% of travel locally and nonlocal – overnight travel. Preferred Education and Experience: Manufacturing/industry experience. Education in HR and/or leadership and organizational development. Nationally recognized training and assessment accreditations and certifications is a plus.
