Key accountabilities

 

To liaise and co-ordinate with division heads and department heads to identify training needs and determine training priorities. To propose yearly training budget and control departmental expenses. To recommend appropriate training activities and propose yearly training plan. To arrange, co-ordinate and conduct training activities for all staff of different departments. To ensure all new employees at general and supervisory levels are given adequate orientation and familiarization when they join the hotel. To leverage and promote corporate culture and initiatives, including Peninsula Behavioral Standards, Forbes Standards, LQA standards etc. To train suitable individuals as on the job departmental trainers. To design and conduct Essential English programs for operational staff to improve their language proficiency.

 

General requirements

 

Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English. Well-developed communication, presentation and public speaking skills. Strong analytical and organization skills. People-sensitive, enthusiastic, open-minded and innovative. Good service quality mindset.
