Director of Marketing
Job Summary The Director of Marketing will help lead the execution of strategies and tactics that include product marketing, brand building, lead generation, digital marketing, and content marketing. 20% travel required. Responsibilities Continuously monitor and evolve the brand to achieve optimal positioning with prospects, customers and all stakeholders. As the advocate-leader for a stronger corporate brand, develop deeper quantitative and qualitative insights into brand health and perception. Use insights to shape action and proactively strengthen WorkCare’s positioning and identity in market for our prospects and customers. Develop and implement a comprehensive thought leadership strategy. Lead the creation and execution of a content plan that strengthens our thought leadership presence while driving demand generation. Design and execute a thought leadership strategy. Help lead and create content strategy to support thought leadership and demand generation. Engage and partner with leaders to align customer segment and corporate priorities, and coordinate messaging, campaigns, thought leadership and growth initiatives for the company. Continue to differentiate WorkCare in the market and position the company for competitive advantage. Evolve all aspects of corporate communications including web site, newsletters, etc. Support internal communications and internal corporate reporting. Monitor competitive activities and create plans that leverage our advantages, sharing insights with key internal stakeholders Help us evolve our go-to-market strategy and the positioning of our products and services Reposition our digital assets (website, social media, webinars, etc.) to maximize awareness, engagement, impact, and lead generation Support sales enabling activities with tools that improve overall engagement form prospecting to close. Help plan and execute tradeshows, webinars, and client advisory board events in support of our overall go-to-market strategy Qualifications Education and Experience Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related discipline is preferred. 15+ years’ experience in business-to-business Marketing and/or Communications. Extensive experience with product marketing and media relations and comfort writing press materials to support work with PR agency. Skills and Competencies Proven understanding of product marketing and sales support. Ability to develop effective partnerships with executives, leaders, technical team members, and other stakeholders. A strong work ethic and acute sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to influence and persuade internal and external partners. Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and shifting workloads while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to think critically and make decisions that ensure the success of key internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to develop solid working relationships in a matrix environment. Strong problem solving and collaborating skills at all levels of the organization. Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and eagerness to learn and teach. Ability to effectively juggle many priorities while remaining flexible to changing deadlines. Comfortable navigating ambiguity. Self-starter mentality and an understanding of when to elevate key details for approval. Poise, resourcefulness, and the willingness to suggest alternative approaches based on experience and research. Ability to accept feedback and adapt accordingly. Professional maturity, sound judgement, and proven ability to handle confidential information. Must have the ability to gather data, compile information, create and edit written materials, and prepare reports. Ability to meet and exceed daily and weekly individual performance goals. Computer Skills Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and learn other software as needed. Proficiency with the latest marketing and communication technologies. Physical Demands Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk. Some bending and stretching could be required. Working under stress and use of computer/phone required. Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard and mouse. Requires visual work on a digital screen for long periods of time. Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Work Environment Mainly indoor, office environment conditions. The noise level is usually moderate. Air quality is good and temperature is controlled. Work Environment must be free from background noise and distraction, noise level is acceptable, temperature is controlled. At home set up must meet all Company IT, privacy and safety requirements. Additional Job Information The salary range for this position is $150,000-$175,000 per year. Final compensation offered to the final candidate within this range depends on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
