The Director of Dermatology Marketing is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of all market development activities and key promotional tactics for the Atopic Dermatitis (AD) indication in the US.
In this role, a typical day might include the following:
Lead the strategy, development, and execution of all market development activities supporting the brand for the AD indication, including congresses, speaker bureaus, advisory boards, consulting agreements, and KOL mapping and engagement.
Gather key insights and proactively identify customer needs to maintain the brand as the systemic treatment of choice in AD.
Implement marketing tactics and initiatives to optimize the long-term success of the brand.
Collaborate closely with the Thought Leader Liaisons (TLLs), Sales, and Field Medical Teams.
Manage and provide growth opportunities for direct reports.
Work cross-functionally to create, manage, and track joint budgets to ensure alignment with budget goals and appropriate full-year phasing.
Collaborate with Finance and the Executive Director to monitor spending against budget/forecast and report budget results as requested.
Manage all projects and responsibilities within agreed-upon timelines, budgets, and scope.
This role may be for you if:
Serve as the JRC Captain for the US Dermatology Commercial Business Unit.
Oversee sample allocations for the US Dermatology Commercial Business Unit.
Ensure that marketing processes, programs, and internal reports are developed, implemented, and effectively administered in accordance with corporate guidance and all regulatory, legal, and ethical guidelines.
Manage vendors and adhere to the market development section of the brand plan and budget.
To be considered you must have 12+ years of progressive industry/relevant professional experience; 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing or related experience. A Bachelor’s degree. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster strong relationships with internal partners, alliance partners, and Health Care Providers (HCPs). Willingness to travel approximately 30-35%, including weekends for conferences, speaker trainings, advisory boards, and other work-related activities. Strong scientific acumen. Immunology experience preferred. Experience within a co-promote or alliance is preferred.
