The Director of Marketing & Partnerships for the Raising Cane’s River Center will oversee all marketing, sponsorship, and partnership functions, ensuring cohesive efforts across key areas such as booking, ticketing, food and beverage, and event management. This role is critical in leading strategic planning, execution, and management of sponsorship initiatives, developing robust partnerships, and driving sponsorship revenue while delivering mutual value for the organization and its sponsors. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, creativity, and a proven track record in sports or event marketing, with the ability to adapt strategies to meet changing market demands and align with the organization’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Relationship Building
Develop and implement marketing and sponsorship strategies aligned with organizational goals.Skillfully manage complex relationships with stakeholders, event promoters, tours, and sponsors to enhance event quality, visibility, and sponsorship value.Review and optimize sponsorship portfolios, obtaining executive approval for strategies and performance metrics.Marketing & Event Promotion
Create and oversee robust promotional plans, leveraging innovative marketing approaches to increase event awareness, ticket sales, and fan engagement.Develop a comprehensive social media strategy to grow followers, engagement, and event exposure across platforms.Expand and optimize email marketing, database strategies, and Ticketmaster utilization to drive conversions and audience engagement.Regularly evaluate and improve the website to enhance user experience and event promotion efforts.Sponsorship Management
Manage sponsorship agreement negotiations, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and goals.Manage onboarding processes for sponsors, fostering strong partnerships and resolving issues professionally.Oversee the execution and fulfillment of sponsorship agreements, addressing deliverables and identifying new sponsorship opportunities.Department Leadership
Oversee the Marketing department's operations, ensuring all work is completed accurately and on time.Recruit, train, and mentor marketing staff, providing professional development opportunities and performance feedback.Manage team workflows, delegating responsibilities and ensuring accountability.Financial Oversight
Lead the department’s budgeting process, securing necessary funds and ensuring efficient resource allocation.Monitor budget utilization, aligning expenditures with strategic goals and work plans.Reporting & Analysis
Provide regular reports to the General Manager on marketing initiatives, sponsorship updates, and promotional program performance.Analyze market trends, sponsorship opportunities, and performance metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.Qualifications:
