As the Marketing Director you will work closely with all cross-functional teams (Operations, Culinary, Finance/Accounting, Training, HR/Recruiting) to implement successful marketing strategies across all channels. The position requires strong branding management, organization, creativity, industry knowledge, planning, production, and partnership experience to ensure all projects are concepted and executed with exceptional quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Marketing Strategy: Existing Restaurants Develop marketing strategy based on business needs, marketing performance, individual store assessments & opportunities, menu changes, and timely trends that ultimately set the brand on a path of continued growth, in partnership with the VP of Marketing Work in tandem with Culinary Dropout Sr Leadership team to develop annual and quarterly strategic marketing plans based on sales and key messaging goals to ensure plans support cross-functional priorities, increased brand awareness and ultimately drive store traffic and sales Maintain and develop brand standards and ensure “Voice” of all creative, messaging, and participating events are consistent with Brand philosophies. Manage sales analysis, trends and insight for the brand to determine marketing effort needs and to make strategic adjustments to plans based on specific business goals Facilitate annual budget planning and management with FRC (FOX RESTAURANT CONCEPTS) VP of Marketing Strategize and initiate PR support, in partnership with agency, to support the overall brand as well as store specific PR needs Oversee planning for all digital marketing efforts in partnership with agency to execute a sales driving digital media strategy Strategize, pitch and oversee all brand partnerships Facilitate all local store requests using in-house and external resources to develop quality and efficient marketing materials. Work with FRC Project Manager to execute all marketing material needs including collateral, new designs, and promotional materials Visit restaurant locations as needed to oversee execution of marketing programs to ensure store teams are an extension of the marketing support team Measure qualitative and quantitative results of marketing programs to drive future successful marketing strategies Agency Management Provide directions to our internal and external digital teams so that brand goals are met Provide strategic direction for all media buys and programs Select and provide strategic direction to PR agency New Restaurant Openings Partner with the VP of Marketing and Operations/Training teams to develop opening strategies that set the brand up for continued national/scalable expansion Develop opening marketing plan for each location that is unique to that market and guest Travel and become familiar with new markets Execute successful launch plan for all NRO including building market share, new guest acquisition, building brand equity, and meeting sales goals Work with Recruiting & HR Teams to develop and execute successful NRO hiring plan Oversee development of Digital marketing pre-post opening plan Oversee development of project advertising plans for pre-post needs Work with Creative team to support development and fulfillment of new restaurant and new market designs, store signage and capital expenditure package Requirements 8+ years of brand marketing experience in a leadership role either in-house/corporate side or within an agency. Restaurant or hospitality industry experience is preferred. Exceptional skills in developing and executing 360-degree marketing programs and brand development Strong knowledge of the digital marketing space and to work with range of personalities and skills to achieve objectives Excellent attention to detail, deadlines, and budget and is a self-starter High level of adherence to deadlines, solutions-orientated, and ability to be nimble/respond quickly and positively to change Hold exceptional written, editing and verbal communication skills Enthusiastic team player willing to “roll up your sleeves” to help team achieve goal Strong commitment and knowledge base of culinary, restaurants and hospitality areas Travel is required About Us: Our story begins with Sam Fox, a man passionate about hospitality and endlessly inspired by food and design.
