JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary:
This is a dynamic, relationship-driven leader who will serve as the dedicated marketing partner to Maaco’s Multiple Store Owners (MSOs). This newly created role is designed to strengthen Maaco’s commitment to the growth and success of our MSOs by providing strategic and hands-on marketing and business growth support tailored to their unique needs. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role will focus on identifying marketing opportunities, driving car count growth, and building partnerships that contribute to the overall success of MSOs and Maaco’s business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships, franchisee or client relations experience, and a deep understanding of marketing strategy and execution. This role offers opportunities for growth beyond marketing, contributing to cross-functional initiatives that elevate Maaco’s brand and business.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership for MSOs
Partner directly with MSOs to understand their business goals, challenges, and opportunities.
Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies to drive retail car count at the Designated Marketing Area (DMA) level.
Identify and capitalize on trends and insights to recommend targeted campaigns and promotional activities tailored to MSO markets.
Collaborate with the Fleet and Operations teams to identify additional car count opportunities, including partnerships and fleet acquisition.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with MSOs as their primary marketing point of contact.
Act as a strategic advisor and consultant, delivering personalized recommendations and solutions.
Conduct weekly touchpoints with MSOs to review performance metrics, address concerns, and explore growth opportunities.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Establish clear KPIs and success metrics tied to MSO performance, including retail car count growth and other marketing initiatives.
Monitor and analyze campaign effectiveness and ROI, providing regular updates to MSOs and internal stakeholders.
Develop and present actionable insights to ensure continuous improvement and measurable results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Maaco’s internal teams, including Operations, Fleet, and Business Intelligence, to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
Partner with the analytics team to leverage data insights that inform marketing recommendations and drive decision-making.
Actively participate in leadership discussions to represent MSO needs and influence broader organizational strategies.
Professional Development and Growth
Drive innovation in MSO marketing approaches and identify opportunities for expanding Maaco’s support and service model.
Serve as a key contributor to long-term marketing and operational strategies that enhance Maaco’s brand equity and market leadership.
Take on additional responsibilities that contribute to the overall success of the business and demonstrate readiness for higher-level leadership roles.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, franchisee relations, or client services roles.
Demonstrated success in building and growing strong client or franchisee relationships.
Experience in multi-location retail, automotive, or franchise industries preferred.
