The Director of Marketing will develop and implement innovative marketing strategies, working closely with our HR team to support recruitment efforts, social media footprint and help build a robust talent pipeline, using all company resources effectivley. This role requires a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively to meet recruitment and HR goals. The ideal candidate will be a creative, data-driven marketer with a deep understanding of the talent acquisition landscape and the channels that drive results.

This position is a hybrid role based in Tempe, AZ. You will be required to work Tuesday- Thursday at our Tempe campus and one day from your home office.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Recruitment Marketing Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a recruitment marketing strategy that leverages direct response marketing techniques, digital platforms, and traditional marketing methods to attract top talent for Unitek Learning. Create and execute innovative recruitment marketing plans to attract, engage, and nurture diverse talent pipelines.Targeted Campaigns: Create and implement highly-targeted recruitment campaigns that “find the needle in the haystack,” identifying where to focus resources and which platforms will deliver the best candidates.Measure and Report on Performance: Establish and track key performance metrics to measure the success of recruitment marketing campaigns. Analyze campaign results, adjusting strategies as needed to meet goals and improve ROI.Manage Marketing Channels: Oversee a variety of recruitment marketing channels, including digital advertising, direct mail, list purchasing, partnerships, and social media. Ensure that each channel is optimized for maximum impact and results.Creative Oversight: Collaborate with partner agencies to guide the development of compelling marketing content that resonates with potential candidates. Review creative assets (ad copy, landing pages, etc.) to ensure they effectively drive strong calls-to-action (CTAs) and conversions.Collaboration with HR Team: Work closely with the HR department to understand hiring needs and create targeted campaigns that align with organizational goals. Provide strategic guidance and direction to HR on how to attract and engage top talent.Build Employer Brand: Develop and promote Unitek Learning’s employer brand through effective marketing tactics that position the company as an employer of choice. Highlight the company culture, career growth opportunities, and benefits in all recruitment communications.Campaign Analytics and Reporting: Regularly report on the performance of recruitment campaigns to leadership, offering insights into what is working and how to optimize future initiatives.Talent Community Building: Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates through proactive outreach, talent community engagement, and ongoing relationship-building efforts.Industry and Channel Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest recruitment marketing trends and best practices, including emerging digital channels, tools, and technologies that can help improve talent acquisition efforts.Accountability and Goal Achievement: Drive and meet key recruitment goals. Be accountable for results and demonstrate the ability to hit deadlines, track performance, and adjust strategies to meet targets.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree is a plus.Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on direct response marketing and recruitment, ideally in the HR or talent acquisition space. Experience with recruitment marketing and employer branding is highly preferred.Direct Response Marketing Expertise: Strong background in direct response marketing, including the ability to identify target audiences, craft compelling messages, and analyze campaign results to optimize efforts.Channel Expertise: Develop compelling content (blogs, videos, social media posts, career site content, etc.) that highlights company culture, benefits, and career opportunities.Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure campaign success, assess metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly to achieve goals.Leadership and Motivation: A self-motivated individual who is capable of leading both independently and collaborativelyAccountability: Proven track record of working towards clear goals and objectives with a strong understanding of how to measure success and improve results.

Position Status:
Full-time position with responsibilities of approximately 40 hours per week. This position will be classified as “At-will.”
