Position: Director of Nursing
Shift: Fulltime - Days
Experience:
1. Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in Nursing Administration, prior management experience required. Director-level experience preferred.
2. Clinical Experience, unit-specific, required.
4. Knowledge of administrative concepts, organizational behavior, management processes, understanding group dynamics as they pertain to health care organizations.
5. Knowledge of current national nursing practices.
6. Ability to lead change, build & lead teams, and develop & maintain inter-professional relationships with senior executives and physicians.
7. Maintains executive competence in speaking and writing.
Education:
1. MSN or other related Masters Degree required (must be completed or in-process)
2. Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. A current RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
2. Leadership or specialty certification highly preferred.
