We are seeking a Director of Nursing for United Helpers Rehabilitation and Senior Care in Canton. Our successful candidate will be leading the nursing team and must possess at least five years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care. Two years of supervisory experience is also required. The DON will provide clinical and administrative support, direction, and oversight to the nursing department and must have proven leadership abilities, demonstrating team-based problem-solving.  They must be able to demonstrate the ability to handle emergency situations in a prompt, precise and professional manner and investigate potential concerns as they arise. They will also work directly with administrator and inter-disciplinary team to accomplish facility objectives. United Helpers Rehabilitation & Senior Care is a 96-bed skilled nursing facility in Canton which specializes in subacute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and services for individuals with dementia. Applicants must have a valid RN license and knowledge related to Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement initiatives is preferred. Salary ranges from $85,000-$95,000, based on experience.
