Responsibilities:

The DON reports to the administrator and is responsible for maintaining standards of care in the skilled nursing facility.

Establish the objectives for the department of nursing and the organizational structure to achieve the objectives alongside the Administrator.Provide guidance and direction on all nursing objectives.Partners with the Administrator and other leaders to ensure care member and resident satisfaction.Oversee education; partner with educator to create engaging and effective orientation, assimilation to the organization, and maintain a knowledge of nursing skills and theory.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

5 years of nursing leadership experienceCurrent NYS RN license

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Salary

Salary: $140,000 to $165,000.00
