About the Role

A leading behavioral health organization is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee patient care, lead the nursing team, and ensure high-quality behavioral health services. This role focuses on crisis stabilization, inpatient care, and outpatient treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.

Roles and Responsibilities Lead and support the organization’s philosophy of care and patient outcomes. Supervise the nursing management team and oversee patient care. Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, referral sources, and employees. Prepare and submit monthly reports on nursing operations and performance. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution. Current, active, and unencumbered nursing license in the state. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Health nursing. CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) required within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact. Nice to Have Prior inpatient behavioral health leadership experience. Experience in chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and geriatric care.
