Director of Operations
Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: + Develop and implement efficient systems and cost-effective processes to enhance operational success. + Oversee operational budgets, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded. Team Leadership and Development: + Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Facility Service Managers (FSMs). + Conduct biweekly ride-alongs with FSMs to ensure adherence to operational standards and foster skill development. + Identify training needs and coordinate off-site training sessions as required. + Implement and monitor individual performance scorecards. Client and Vendor Relationship Management: + Build and maintain relationships with clients to achieve a client retention rate above 90%. + Manage and grow key accounts, including negotiating terms and ensuring satisfaction. + Develop partnerships with vendors and Independent Contractors (ICs) to align with scope requirements. Collaboration and Cross-Selling: + Partner with sales and commercial building teams to identify growth opportunities and drive non-janitorial services. + Actively promote cross-functional collaboration and innovation. Strategic Planning and Performance Monitoring: + Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success in operational, financial, and client management areas. + Conduct weekly team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and boost morale. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. + 5+ years in operations or account management leadership. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems. + Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams effectively. + Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. + Preferred Certifications: + CPSP (Certified Professional Salesperson): Enhances strategic account management skills. + SAMA (Strategic Account Management Association): Focuses on relationship management for key accounts. Requirements Physical Demands and Work Environment: + Ability to travel within the market up to 50%. + Occasional exposure to outdoor elements or physical activity.
