Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Director Patient Care for our Behavioral Health Unit at RWJ University Hospital - Somerset in Somerville, NJ.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing requiredMaster s degree preferredCurrent New Jersey RN Licensure requiredBLS required. (American Heart Association)Previous nursing leadership experience in an inpatient behavioral health and/or crisis setting requiredBoard certification in nursing leadership and/or behavioral health preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

Full Time, 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

Unit staff includes RN's, PCA & Unit SecretariesManage the staffing, budget & quality measures of the UnitAct as an integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ SomersetResponsibility for multiple teams who support daily essential patient care24/7 responsibility of the unitRecruiting and managing multiple teamsImproving and maintaining quality of care and customer satisfaction
