Summary: Join us as our next Director of People Science, where you’ll play a crucial role in transforming patients' lives through science. We are looking for a dynamic leader who can leverage analytics to drive impactful decisions and business outcomes, while also enhancing our workforce strategy through the power of people data.
This position focuses on improving internal processes and employee experiences, with an emphasis on fostering a deep understanding of organizational behavior research and design. In this role, you will define and identify evidence-based best practices and interventions that foster programmatic success and equitable outcomes. Your research will guide decisions to create inclusive, equitable, and employee-focused experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive organizational behavior measurement strategy aligned with HR and business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of behavioral scientists, ensuring alignment with impactful projects.
Support the HR Leadership Team in identifying business challenges and using data analysis to influence policy, process, or program changes.
Ensure the team solves the right problems using appropriate techniques and effectively communicates findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Partner with People Analytics, People Services, HR IT teams, and vendors to deliver necessary people-related insights.
Participate in external professional organizations to understand and shape emerging trends in I/O psychology and organizational behavior.
Oversee the design and execution of research studies, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and behavioral analytics.
Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for HR and business leaders.
Lead strategic research projects, driving findings into actionable insights and inclusive experiences through a co-creative, equitable, and socially responsible approach.
Communicate effectively with senior executives and the team, balancing tone and content to serve multiple audiences.
Expert facilitation skills, able to navigate sensitive topics and difficult issues in a complex and diverse environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
PhD in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Science, I/O Psychology, or a related field.
Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, stay organized, and multitask in an agile environment.
10+ years of experience in user research, psychology, and/or ethnography with a deep understanding of research methods and best practices.
10+ years of experience in the product development process, including mixed-methods research and translating research into insights.
Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience, including setting direction, providing feedback, managing performance, and development.
A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables.
Applied research experience with qualitative and quantitative methods.
Deep experience in statistical analysis and understanding of HR program and human capital delivery system processes, with HR-specific analytics experience a plus.
Experience with tools across the analytic stack, including data management, modeling, and visualization tools.
