This individual ensures compliance with pertinent healthcare building codes, accreditation standards, OSHA, and contractual work specifications; and oversees emergency facilities operational initiatives and plans. In addition, this individual oversees all construction projects and any work performed by outside vendors and contractors, while assuring that all work performed meets fire and safety codes. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or related field preferred. Experience: A minimum of five (5) years facilities management or related experience with at least two years in a supervisory capacity. Must have experience with reading blueprints and understand Life Safety Codes, Joint Commission and other regulatory Standards and OSHA Regulations. Experience in a psychiatric facility highly preferred. Licensure: Must have a valid driver’s license. Additional Requirements: HVAC Certification preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills; Excellent time management and organization skills.
