Director of Portfolio Management - Healthcare Sensing

The Healthcare line of business is seeking an offering (product) manager to lead the Force, Medical Gas, and Airflow portfolios to their next stage of growth. These segments are critical drivers of the overall business’s growth. The aggregate portfolio represents >$50M in revenue within the Healthcare portfolio. A collaborative professional with a passion for winning, owning results, and driven toward action will be best suited to profitably grow this business. 

As a Director of Portfolio Management - Healthcare Sensing, focused on Portfolio Growth here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and profitability by aligning our offerings with growth industries and end segments. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand our portfolio and capture market opportunities in high-growth sectors. Your strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and market insights will be essential in driving the success of our business.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on our strategic direction, revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market share expansion.

Ideal Candidate Experience: 
•\tProven experience (typically 10+ years) in product management, offering management, or related roles, with significant experience in portfolio management and leadership positions.
•\tPrevious experience leading an offering management function with a focus on portfolio growth
•\tStrong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving business growth through effective portfolio management.
•\tStrong ability to identify growth industries segments with high market potential
•\tExperience with developing and executing strategies to expand portfolio’s alignment with growth opportunities.
•\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new offerings targeted at growth industries.
•\tDeveloped pricing and go-to-market strategies to maximize revenue and market share
•\tMonitored and track portfolio performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize growth

Key Responsibilities: 

Portfolio Strategy and Development:
•\tDevelop and execute the overall strategy for the company’s product portfolio, encompassing both existing products and new offerings.
•\tConduct market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive assessments to identify market trends, opportunities, and portfolio gaps.
•\tDefine and prioritize portfolio investments based on strategic fit, market potential, and financial viability.

Product Lifecycle Management:
•\tOversee the entire lifecycle of products within the portfolio, from concept development through to end-of-life decisions.
•\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, operations) to define product roadmaps, feature enhancements, and product differentiation strategies.
•\tMonitor product performance metrics, including revenue growth, profitability, and market share, and make data-driven decisions to optimize portfolio performance.
Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
•\tServe as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and senior management on portfolio strategy, performance, and market dynamics.
•\tFoster collaboration and alignment across departments to drive portfolio growth and profitability.
•\tBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and key customers to drive co-development opportunities and enhance product offerings.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
•\tLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency within the portfolio.
•\tStay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
•\tChampion a culture of innovation and excellence within the offering management team, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in offering management or related roles
• Proven track record of driving portfolio growth and capturing market opportunities
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
