Description
We are seeking a Director of Procurement to join our Client's team. This role is an integral part of our supply chain logistics, responsible for the effective and efficient management of all procurement related activities. The Director of Procurement will oversee the selection, procurement, and distribution of all food, beverage, and restaurant supply products. This role also involves the management of relationships with external suppliers and distributors, ensuring compliance with service, quality, and price specifications.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the procurement, distribution, and monitoring of all food, beverage, and restaurant supply products.
• Direct sourcing, contracting, cost controls, and inventory management for all products.
• Manage relationships with external suppliers and distributors, ensuring compliance with service, quality, and price specifications.
• Take charge of the overall food, beverage, and restaurant supply costs.
• Implement and manage inventory and cost management systems to fully achieve financial and operational benefits.
• Use your experience in supply chain logistics and management to improve procurement strategies.
• Ensure the timely selection of all products.
• Utilize procurement management skills to manage the selection and purchasing of products.
• Leverage supply chain strategy skills to optimize procurement and distribution processes.
Requirements • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a procurement role at a managerial level
• Demonstrated expertise in Supply Chain Logistics
• Proven experience in Supply Chain Management
• Skilled at developing and implementing Supply Chain Strategy
• Proficiency in formulating and executing Procurement Strategy
• Solid background in managing Procurement Management processes and teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
• Industry certifications such as Certified Purchasing Detail Oriented (CPP) or Certified Detail Oriented in Supply Management (CPSM) would be advantageous
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in using procurement software and other related IT systems.
