Job DescriptionLeadership: Lead the procurement function in Europe, ensuring alignment with global strategies.Strategic Development: Develop and execute strategic procurement processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.OFCI Expertise: Be at the forefront of the Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) process, ensuring seamless integration of high-quality equipment into projects.Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure collaboration and mutual success.Sourcing & Procurement: Oversee the sourcing and procurement of specialised materials and equipment directly from trusted suppliers.Risk Management: Monitor and manage risks associated with procurement activities.Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.Performance Reporting: Report on procurement performance and initiatives to senior leadership.Quality Control: Establish and maintain strict quality control standards to ensure all materials meet project specifications.Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate the installation of owner-furnished items, working closely with contractors and other stakeholders.Cost Efficiency: Negotiate directly with suppliers to eliminate contractor markups and achieve significant cost savings.Project Management: Ensure the timely delivery and installation of materials, aligning with project timelines and milestones.Team Development: Provide guidance and support to the procurement team, fostering professional growth and development.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Director of Procurement should have:

Proven track record of negotiation and savings for highly technical operations and capital equipment.Extensive knowledge of contracts and legal terms related to construction projects.Expertise in managing supplier relationships aligned with global procurement strategies.A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Proven experience in a procurement leadership role ideally within the data centre industry or from aligned sectorsExcellent leadership and team management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.What's on OfferA competitive basic and bonusA comprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to work with a global leade
