The Director of Product Management is a strategic, results-driven leader responsible for delivering on the vision, strategy, and execution of key fintech products. This role is focused on delivering innovative solutions for major clients and will manage the product lifecycle, collaborating cross-functionally (sales, client service, operations, technology, legal, and marketing) to ensure exceptional client outcomes and measurable business impact. In particular, the Director will be responsible for developing and scaling preference and consent management applications to empower clients to manage data privacy, user consent, and communication preferences in compliance with regulatory requirements.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned fintech products—prioritizing innovation, growth, regulatory compliance, and speed to market.
Drive the development and ongoing enhancement of preference and consent management solutions, ensuring that applications meet evolving privacy, regulatory, and customer experience requirements.
Own and continuously improve the full product management process, from product discovery and market opportunity identification through requirements gathering, development, launch, and lifecycle optimization.
Collaborate closely with technology, compliance, and legal teams to ensure that preference and consent management applications adhere to global data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry best practices.
Gather, consolidate, and transform product requirements into actionable artifacts, ensuring clear communication to Product Owners and Agile teams with detailed Product Definition Documents and user stories.
Develop a deep, data-driven understanding of client needs, market trends, competitive landscapes and regulatory changes through market research, customer interviews, and product analytics.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned products, partnering closely with client-facing teams to address questions, resolve issues, and drive successful client outcomes.
Collaborate with marketing to establish differentiated product positioning and support the development of compelling product promotions, campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
Produce and maintain comprehensive release documentation, and deliver product enablement and training for sales and services teams to drive adoption and growth.
Champion the product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders, fostering alignment, transparency, and excitement across Broadridge teams and with clients.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
7+ years of experience in product management, direct leadership over product teams preferred. Experience in financial services or fintech strongly preferred.
Direct experience designing, launching, or managing preference and consent management applications, including consent capture, user preference centers, or privacy compliance tools.
Demonstrated expertise in setting, communicating, and executing product vision and strategy, with measurable impact on business growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.
Practitioner-level understanding of product management frameworks and best practices, including product discovery, productization, scaling, and lifecycle management.
Extensive cross-functional leadership, partnering effectively across sales, client service, technology, marketing, operations, and legal to ensure strong alignment and delivery of market-leading products.
Strong client orientation, with experience engaging directly with key customers, industry organizations, and the broader market to anticipate needs and evolve product strategy.
Deep experience in translating business requirements into tangible product offerings, with an outstanding ability to productize concepts and manage go-to-market planning.
Comprehensive knowledge of software development lifecycle and mastery of Agile methodologies, enabling close partnership with Agile teams.
Thorough understanding of global data privacy and consent regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on product design and client operations.
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with a record of driving resolution of high-visibility product issues.
Drive ongoing product improvements with a focus on client feedback, customer experience and business growth.
Identify and act on opportunities to leverage emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and data analytics to enhance product offerings.
Salary range $140,000.00-$170,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
