Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer._ **Responsibilities** **Job Summary:** The Director of Product Management (Salesforce) is a strategic leader responsible for the vision, execution, and overall health of a product portfolio built on the Salesforce platform within Ascension. This role will set the direction for how Salesforce products deliver value to consumers, associates, and business stakeholders. This role will lead a team of Product Managers and own the creation, maintenance, and delivery of accurate, outcome-driven product roadmaps across their portfolio. They will drive product excellence by developing high-performing product managers, fostering a customer-centric mindset, and ensuring all products align with Ascension’s mission and business objectives. This leader will serve as the accountable owner, ensuring products deliver on expected outcomes and continuously improve to meet evolving consumer needs. **Responsibilities:** **Product Portfolio Ownership:** + Own end-to-end the products with the portfolio, ensuring alignment with business strategy, consumer needs, and Ascension’s mission. + Establish and maintain multi-year product roadmaps that accurately reflect product vision, priorities, and expected outcomes across all products within the portfolio. + Ensure roadmaps are continuously updated, transparent, and easily consumable by business stakeholders, executive leadership, and product delivery teams. + Drive portfolio-level decision-making, including prioritization of investments, scope, and sequencing across products. + Hold Product Managers accountable for the delivery of business outcomes and high-quality product experiences. **Product Excellence & Delivery:** + Set the standard for what great product management looks like across the portfolio, defining and championing best practices for discovery, delivery, and product lifecycle management. + Foster a culture that serves the Ascension mission—ensuring all products are built with deep consumer insights and deliver measurable value, especially for the poor and vulnerable. + Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Business teams to align on priorities, remove obstacles, and ensure delivery of OKRs. + Drive consistency in product artifacts such as roadmaps, backlogs, success measures, and product outcome reporting. **Leadership & People Development:** + Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers, creating clear growth paths and succession plans. + Build a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and collaboration across the product management team. + Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and professional development to Product Managers to elevate product management capabilities. + Lead by example—modeling consumer-centered thinking, strong communication, and decisive leadership. **Stakeholder Partnership & Communication:** + Build trusted partnerships with business stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for the products within the portfolio. + Translate business needs into product vision and priorities, acting as a bridge between business strategy and technical execution. + Ensure stakeholders are engaged, informed, and aligned on product roadmaps, priorities, and outcomes. + Clearly communicate product decisions, trade-offs, and progress across all levels of the organization—including executive leadership. **Market & Technology Expertise:** + Stay up to date on the Salesforce product ecosystem, emerging technologies, and healthcare industry trends. + Establish strong partnerships with Salesforce to understand product roadmaps and advocate for Ascension’s needs. + Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert on Salesforce capabilities, representing Ascension internally and externally. **Operations & Budget Management:** + Collaborate with leadership to manage product investments across the portfolio, optimizing Capex and Opex budgets. + Track, measure, and report on product outcomes at the portfolio level—ensuring investments deliver business value. **Complexity of Work** + High level of leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making required to drive product vision and execution across a diverse portfolio. + Ability to navigate competing priorities and influence stakeholders across business, technology, and executive leadership. + Strong emotional intelligence, able to lead through ambiguity, coach teams, and foster a culture of psychological safety and ownership. **Minimum Qualifications** + Education: Bachelor’s degree required;
