Job SummaryPSE&G is embarking on the development of a new, state of the art, headquarters building in Newark, New Jersey. This project will allow PSE&G to reimagine the experience of employees, customers, and the community through strategic investment of ~$500M in a new, purpose-built Enterprise headquarters. The New Newark Program will consist of 5 key phases: Programming, Developer/Buildier Selection, Design, Build, Decommisioning of 80 Park Plaza, transition into the new HQ, relocation of PSE&G Critical Infrastructure (IT Data Center, ESOC/GSOC, Trading Generation Services, etc.) to the new location or another site over the course of the next 5 years.
The Program PMO Director to lead the day-to-day operations of the New Newark development project through all phases. This role will involve leading a Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure that all project requirements are met, aligned, and executed upon. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between various workstreams groups and cross-roganizational stakeholders to drive project success. It is anticipated that the Program PMO Director will work closely with the local, county, and state governamental entites and external vendors in multiple functional areas from professional consulting services through arcitiects, designers and constructions firms.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or relevant field Varied leadership and managerial experience of direct and indirect resources; minimum of 10 years acting in a management capacity Experience in program/project management, civil or strucutural engineering, real estate development, or related discipline Development of project acquisition and funding strategies (Identify viability of potential site(s) for new construction and keeping abreast of new and existing funding programs) Preparation of financial and physical feasibility analyses for site(s) Selection and supervision of developers and/or architects, builders, consultants, and contractors Support representing PSE&G before public agencies, elected officials, community groups and financial institutions Coordinate project management activities with other functions as necessary internal and external entities Manage the project budget and schedule, providing regular reports and briefings involving senior executives Knowledge of real estate market rules and regulations, contract development and process knowledge to support deal execution and closure Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively Proven ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions, in prioritizing work in a multi-task environment Proven ability to work and manage in a collaborative environment with multi-disciplines Strong negotiation and contract management skills, specific to engineering and construction Well-organized, detail oriented, and excellent analytical skills; proficiency in sophisticated financial analysis Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication and presentation skills Must posess a valid US Driver's LicenseDesired
