Overview

We are looking for a strategic, growth oriented operations leader. As the Director of Regional Clinic Operations you will be responsible for multiple locations in the Southern Arizona market with potential for additional locations in the future. This role will work closely with our integrations and operational teams and needs high focus on bringing positive change management to the teams as we plan for growth. You will have accountability for year over year growth, physician relationships, teammate retention/engagement and compliance. Relocation potential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities Oversees the clinic line of service for efficiency and quality of patient encounters in assigned territoryResponsible for the profitability of assigned territory.  Reviews and analyzes financial performance and management information reports. Assists in developing a business plan for the territory in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team.Works directly with Providers to resolve conflicts, issues, or questions to provide the best quality outcomes.Develops strategies in coordination with peers and RVP to improve financial results.Approves all clinic new hires, transfers and salary increases for personnelAids in the ongoing development of employee training programs to include creating written workflowMonitors clinic schedules within assigned territory; makes recommendations when a provider is underutilizedConsistently reviews operational and financial reports outlining business performance and makes the appropriate changes and recommendationsAids in setting goals for direct reports that are in alignment with the Company’s strategic goalsAssists in analyzing the cost/benefit ratio and feasibility thereof in regards to special situations or opportunities for the territory, i.e. new acquisitions, new locations, new providersResponsible for planning and preparing territory activities.Trains, coaches and mentors’ direct reports; fosters development of strong relationships between direct reports and providers.Assists Clinic Managers with developing plans for community outreach, building and maintaining referring doctor relationships, and other efforts to increase growthAssists in finding resolution of problems and keeps line of communication open with staff and Managers to ensure high productivityServes on Committees and assists with the development of procedures and policiesCollaborates with Nurse Director(s), Assoc. Director of Optical, and Sr. Director of Quality and Compliance to ensure assigned territory abides by all regulatory guidelines and standardsEncourages a team-oriented environment and follows company guidelines and policiesPerforms additional duties as reasonably assigned Qualifications

Education:

High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

 

Experience:

5 years Healthcare Management requiredRecent Multi-Site Management Experience requiredPhysician Relationship Experience preferredCertified Ophthalmic Executive (COE) of Corporate Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) a plusStrong financial aptitude and computer skillsExperience with a fully-integrated medical office software package is a plusWorking knowledge of all aspects regarding optometric careExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented, reliable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environmentAbility to problem solve and make decisionsProven ability to delegate and supervise a teamDedication to high quality patient care Benefits & Perks
