Responsibilities

Administers the residency and/or medical student program.

Provides oversight and organization for the activities of the residency and/or medical student education
program in all facilities that participate in the program.Assigns clinical rotations and staff appointments of attending physicians on teaching services.Implements policies and procedures related to the residency and/or medical student program. Reviews, updates and assists in writing curricula.Submits all information required and requested by various accrediting bodies, including but not limited
to program information forms and annual program resident and/or medical student updates.

Complexity of Work:

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal
supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required

 

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):None Required.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's
degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years
being in leadership/management.
