The Director of Retirement Services Strategy will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our retirement services offerings, while working with producers and the practice leaders to increase revenue. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, assess client needs, and implement innovative solutions that drive revenue growth and improve client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of retirement services, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of strategic planning and execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited, to the following:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for retirement services that aligns with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
Collaborate with producers and Practice Leader of RS on revenue growth plan
Utilize data analytics to segment your audience and create targeted marketing campaigns with Prosper Wise to increase client base.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning within the retirement services sector.
Program Development:
Collaborate with product development teams to design and enhance retirement service offerings that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the implementation of new programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Operational Management:
Oversee the administration and operational aspects of retirement plans (e.g., 401(k), pension plans, Prosperwise, IDI, etc.), ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
Implement and refine processes to improve service delivery, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational risks with the advent of documentation of policy and procedures, service level standards and workload metrics.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of retirement plans, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
Serve as a key point of contact for strategic discussions related to retirement services.
Performance Measurement:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of retirement services initiatives and programs.
Analyze performance data and provide insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of professionals dedicated to retirement services strategy, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Provide guidance and support in the development of team members’ skills and career growth.
Manage all employee relations issues, along with Human Resources.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in retirement services, financial services, or a related field, with a focus on strategic planning and program development is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
Knowledge of retirement plan regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
