Assists to develop, implement, maximise, monitor and evaluate the hotel’s Marketing Strategy (goals, tactics and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and all other revenue generating departments.
Preparation and update of the Departmental Operations Manuals.
Conducts regular departmental communications meetings and ensure departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.
Assists in ensuring that all Corporate, Regional, hotel and governmental reports are compiled accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
Strategically analyses business performance to facilitate accurate and meaningful forecasting, involving the respective Heads of Department as appropriate.
Oversee and guide the hotel revenue management team to formulate transient and group inventory restrictions and pricing strategies towards the goal of increasing market share and maximizing revenues for the hotel.
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Holds diploma or suitable qualification in Sales and Marketing and/or Hospitality or Tourism Management.Strong follow-up/project management and organisational skills.Thorough understanding of selling techniques and marketing concepts.Well developed Computer Skills particularly in the use of MS Office, email, and Delphi/RESERVE.Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements.Minimum two to four years work experience as Revenue Manager in a hotel.Essential prerequisite is experience in the Travel and Hotel industry.
