Overview of the role
We are looking for a versatile and passionate Director of Revenue Management to develop and implement the room revenue management strategy and activities, including, but not limited to compiling statistical and competitive research analysis, forecasting room revenue, pricing strategy, inventory control, channel distribution, optimising global distribution system (GDS) and online travel agent (OTA) sites..
Key Accountabilities
Recommend and implement the overall revenue maximization, business mix, and opportunities strategies. Support the gathering of statistical and competitive information to produce timely and accurate forecasts to maximize all revenue opportunities, while adhering to group revenue policies. Understand the hotel’s profitability points and use them to evaluate business from domestic and international markets to provide input for future rate setting and negotiations. Monitor competitive pricing for all revenue streams and recommend appropriate actions in relation to the hotel’s pricing and market mix balance to achieve budget. Utilize marketing intelligence tool and reports in analyzing trends and develop strategies to capture maximum market share.
General Requirements
College graduate with at least (1) year notable experience as DORM or a similar role Results-oriented and driven, with strong attention to detail Aggressive, passionate and highly motivated in meeting sales goals With pleasant personality and can work well under pressure Self-starter, mature, independent and a team player
