Responsibilities Brynn Marr Hospital first opened its doors in 1983 and for more than three decades has continually aspired to be a valued and trusted resource for behavioral healthcare in Eastern North Carolina. The 102-bed hospital serves children, adolescents and adults through the utilization of therapy, programming and medication management. The Risk Director is responsible for coordinating the loss control efforts and advising management and administration on all potential sources of loss and for making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure. The structure and functions of the Risk Management Program are designed so to comply with guidelines and standards of Joint Commission, other regulatory agencies and the UHS Risk Program. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field. Master’s preferred. Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in a in-patient acute care facility (psychiatric preferred) with knowledge of high-risk areas.
