Director of Safety, Enterprise

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Drive a risk-based approach to identifying and mitigating risks to protect the safety and health of our employees and operations. Develop high-level safety program goals and execution strategies ensuring consensus and support from Emerson executive leadership Collaborate with business unit safety leaders to refine and implement company-wide safety policies, processes, and procedures employees. Lead and enrich the internal safety training curriculums and supervise end-user completion rates to support end-users in achieving performance goals and objectives. Coordinate company health and safety standards and policies based on industry regulations and requirements and promote a safety culture aligned to them Identify and implement efficient methods, processes, and strategies for health and safety standard methodology sharing across business units and world areas Plan, conduct, and lead third-party and intracompany risk assessment audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. Maintain and analyze data to identify trends and recommendations for continuous safety improvement and regularly present and communicate these to collaborators across the organization Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA). Benchmark safety performance against industry standards and to drive program improvements. Serve as the primary contact for safety-related matters across the organization. Who You Are:

You look for obstacles an develops excellent contingency plans.    For This Role, You Will Need: B.S. degree in EHS, Engineering or Science related field Relevant years of managerial experience and broad related experience in global environmental, health and safety project management commensurate with the level of this position.  Serve as the primary contact for safety-related matters within the organization. Willing to travel approximately 20% of the time.    Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 15+ years of managerial experience and 10+ years of broad related experience in global environmental, health and safety project management.  MBA Knowledge of Federal, state, and local safety regulations. Knowledge of claims management and resolution. Ability to be a creative and progressive problem solver when it comes to safety culture and behavior change.   Our Offer To You:
