AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Director of Sales.  This role can sit remote in the US.  The primary purpose of a Director of Sales, Parterre in the flooring industry is to oversee and drive sales strategies of our Parterre Commercial Brand. This role involves managing sales teams, cultivating client relationships, developing sales targets, and ensuring revenue growth within the commercial segment of the flooring business. Additionally, they often play a crucial role in market expansion, product development, and maintaining a competitive edge in the industry.  This role will be a road warrior. 

JOB DUTIES:

Develop and execute an annual sales plan in accordance with overarching organizational goals. Direct the implementation of sales policies and practices, ensuring their alignment with strategic objectives. Coordinate closely with the Marketing leadership team to align communications and expenditure in support of sales objectives. Coordinate closely with the Product leadership of new launches and Parterre brand product path. Recommend and implement sales strategies based on thorough market research and competitor analysis. Manage architectural and contract sales business plans, emphasizing continuous improvement and expertise enhancement within the sales team responsible for Parterre. Identify and capitalize on domestic and international ABP (Architectural Building Products) opportunities. Execute distribution sales plans, acting as a liaison between Lancaster and field representatives. Ensure clarity in roles, responsibilities, and goal expectations across teams. Act as a functional expert supporting other ABP departments such as Marketing, New Product Development, Innovation, and Finance. Develop promotional programs in collaboration with the marketing team to address market opportunities. Coach and develop field management and sales representatives to enhance performance at our distributors. Develop strategic plans for North American and Canadian Sales, focusing on achieving sales volume, market share, and brand preference targets. Create and execute strategies to influence key stakeholders in major construction and renovation projects. Actively participate in the Sales Leadership Team and Commercial Business Team collaborating effectively with various internal stakeholders. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive business growth and retention.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. 8-10 years of progressive sales leadership in commercial flooring. Proven success in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets. Strong leadership fostering high-performance sales teams. Analytical skills for market trend analysis and strategic decision-making. Proficiency in negotiating complex deals and contracts. Strategic thinking to adapt to changing market dynamics. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement. Adaptability to evolving industry trends and technologies. Comprehensive knowledge of commercial flooring, encompassing trends, materials, installation methods, and market dynamics. Proficient in devising and executing sales strategies aligned with business goals and market demands. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software for efficient sales processes and performance tracking.
