Director of Sales

You will be responsible forthe efficient running ofthe division in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies andbrand standards while meetingemployee, guest, and owner expectations. The Director of Sales is responsible for providing leadership in all selling activities within the hotel, working closely with the Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments to maximize sales through the activities of the Sales Department and other employees.

The Director of Sales is responsible for providing leadership in all selling activities within the hotel, working closely with the Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments to maximize sales through the activities of the Sales Department and other employees.

Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management Minimum seven years' experience in the hospitality field. Independent luxury hotel and/or international luxury hotel chain brand experience is strongly preferred. Experience as a proactive sales professional at a similar hotel in South East Asia or/and in a resort destination Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong supervisory and personnel management experience Willing to be entrepreneurial and take risks Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced team environment Ability to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member Excellent attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to change Ability to operate under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines Excellent organizational, time-management and analytical skills Imagination and creativity skills, focusing on improving financial performance through aggressive sales and marketing initiatives Positive, outgoing, and self-motivating individual with a pleasant personality Ability to maintain a professional manner and appearance in all situations Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management Minimum seven years' experience in the hospitality field.
