The Role
As the Director of Sales for Crossix Audiences, you will lead a team of Account Partners responsible for selling Crossix Audiences to Life Sciences companies and their agencies. You will be part of a dynamic and growing team focused on driving marketing excellence across the life science industry. The Director of Sales is a critical position responsible for hiring, managing, and mentoring a team of account partners who call on hundreds of existing and prospective brands across North America. Creativity, energy, and the ability to hire, manage, and support a diverse team are critical.What You'll DoHire and manage a team of A-players to create and drive business into new and existing accountsProvide strategic guidance related to key opportunities and complete sales cyclesManage relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, analytics, and C-level executivesAccurate sales forecast and pipeline managementReview and approve pricing and proposalsReview and approve expense reports and other administrative tasks associated with managing an outside sales teamReport and maintain timely and thorough notes pertaining to opportunities via Veeva’s CRMBe willing to travel 25%+Requirements3+ years experience managing a team of 3+ Account Executives selling digital media/advertising (biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device or diagnostic)8+ years experience selling digital media & advertising AND recent experience selling those services to the Life Sciences industry (biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device or diagnostic)Understanding of Life Sciences media landscape, as well as the people, processes, and technology in this industryBachelor’s degreeExcellent interpersonal, presentation, written & verbal communication skillsBe self-motivated, professional, confident, flexible, and results-drivenBe proactive and energetic approach, flexibleBe willing to travel as requiredNice to HaveA history of working with key agencies: Initiative, OMH, CMI, SSCG, PHM, Wavemaker, etc.Perks & BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and basic life insuranceFlexible PTO and company paid holidaysRetirement programs1% charitable giving programCompensationBase pay: $135,000 - $300,000The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role.
