We are seeking a passionate, bilingual (English and French) Director of Sales with proven experience in lifestyle hotels and a strong understanding of the Montreal market. As a key member of the pre-opening leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in positioning Hotel Railwayparc, Montreal’s first Tapestry by Hilton property, as a destination of choice for lifestyle-focused travelers and local businesses.

About Hotel Railwayparc

Located in the vibrant Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG) borough, Hotel Railwayparc features 75 rooms, including long-stay apartments, designed for lifestyle adult clientele. This boutique hotel celebrates Montreal’s culture and history with locally inspired food and beverage offerings, versatile meeting spaces, and an elevated guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Opening Sales Strategy:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to establish the hotel’s presence in the Montreal market.Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and key stakeholders to drive group, corporate, and leisure bookings.Collaborate with Hilton corporate teams to leverage brand resources and initiatives.

Revenue Generation:

Identify target markets and develop tailored strategies for transient, group, and event sales.Maximize revenue by optimizing room and event space utilization.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies as needed.

Client Relationship Management:

Establish strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel agents, and event planners.Serve as the hotel’s brand ambassador, showcasing its unique offerings to prospective clients.

Social Media Engagement:

Leverage social media platforms to promote the hotel, generate leads, and enhance brand visibility.Collaborate with marketing teams to develop engaging content and campaigns targeting key markets.

Team Collaboration:

Partner with the General Manager and other department heads to align sales efforts with overall operational goals.Train and support the sales team to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Work Experience
Bilingual in English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills.Proven experience in hotel sales, preferably in boutique or lifestyle properties.Knowledge of the Montreal market and a network of local business contacts.Familiarity with Hilton systems and brand standards is an asset.Social media savvy, with the ability to utilize platforms for sales and marketing purposes.Strong understanding of revenue management principles and market segmentation.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, pre-opening environment.A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and achieving sales targets.
