As the Director of Sales for New Capital Equipment at JBT is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to drive growth and achieve sales targets for our capital equipment products. You will develop and implement strategic sales plans, build strong relationships with key clients, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales management within the food equipment industry. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth in the capital food equipment sector. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets. Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction and results. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitors. Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum return on investment. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to meeting customer needs and achieving company goals. Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales management within the food equipment industry required. Experience in selling process systems designs, fabricates, and installs for custom stainless steel process systems, tanks, and skidded solutions, preferred. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Embraces a leadership role where you guided, inspired and motivated a team of 5-7 employees. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Working Conditions: Full-time position. Occasional travel may be required to meet with retail partners and attend industry events. COMPENSATION RANGE: $145,000.00 to $165,000.00 +40% quarterly/annual commission. Compensation is determined on experience and skill.
