Position Summary
Under the direction of the General Manager of Gaming Operations supervise, administer and coordinate all Sandia Casino slot operations.

Supervised by the General Manager of Gaming Operations.
Supervises the Slots Manager, and other personnel as assigned.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for all operations, technical and administrative duties involving the Slot Department. Develops, implements and monitors slot policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the goals and objectives of Sandia Casino. Develops strategies to create service levels designed to expand guest attendance and increase slot profits. Develops, implements and monitors a Slot Department budget. Understanding and documenting reports monthly as to any variances. Develops and structures department operational goals and objectives, enforces organizational policies and procedures. Maintains on-line records of all slot machines, determines slot machine mix, pays out percentage and locations to maximize slot revenues. Responsible for documentation to ensure the Slot Department is in compliance with specifications required by the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) and the State Compact. Provides reports to the General Manager of Gaming Operations, Tribal Council, and other Department Managers as necessary. Monitors and manages service levels through analysis of reports and follow through. Works closely with Marketing Department in the establishment of slot promotions programs which are unique, exciting and revenue, profit generating. Identifies training needs and contracts with service providers and internal resources to provide staff development opportunities for current employees and Pueblo of Sandia Tribal members. Monitors and manages service levels through reporting and follow through. Responsible for training staff on current and new technology of slot machines. Establishes internal operating procedures with Surveillance and Security departments and any additional safeguards as necessary to protect Tribal assets, customers, Casino employees and Tribal property. Ensures the effective and timely transfer of slot banks to the main vault. Establish outstanding customer relations with guests. Adheres to Title 31 procedures. Establishes and maintains an effective business relationship with vendors. Recommends slot format and prize payment adjust performance to competition. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.Secondary Duties And Responsibilities

Ability to supervise, coordinate, direct, and assign work. Ability to make judgments and decisions regarding guest and employee complaints. Ability to implement and administer disciplinary procedures. Ability to analyze and develop time lines, project resources, monitor and evaluate results. Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures. Ability to develop and administer a slot budget. Ability to deal effectively with the general public and casino staff. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write reports and maintain slot files and employee schedules. Ability to develop and implement training needs for employees and Tribal members. Ability to pass an extensive background investigation. Knowledge of Casino operations, Tribal, federal and state reporting requirements. Knowledge of all slot and gaming operations. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.Minimum Qualifications, Education And Experience
Required
High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance Administration, Human Resource Management or related field and eight (8) years of managerial or supervisory slot experience. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling twelve (12) years may substitute for the required education and experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License.Licensing Status
