Jockey is seeking a Director of Social Media Marketing to join our Marketing team!

JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Social Media will lead Jockey’s in-house social media team, driving brand storytelling, social commerce initiatives, and platform engagement strategies. This role will oversee content creation, social platform management, social listening, and performance analysis to deliver innovative, data-driven campaigns that build audience engagement and drive business growth. The Director will be instrumental in evolving Jockey’s social media presence and leveraging it as a key channel for brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue generation.  

This position can be located at our corporate headquarters in Kenosha, WI (between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI area), or at our office in Nashville, TN.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Social Media Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Jockey’s marketing goals, brand vision, and product campaigns.   Oversee all aspects of Jockey’s social media channels, ensuring consistent brand voice, messaging, and high-quality content across platforms.   Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing social media team, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.   Social Commerce Integration: Drive social commerce strategies by identifying and implementing shoppable content opportunities across key platforms.   Collaborate with eCommerce and marketing teams to enhance customer shopping experiences, integrating live-stream shopping, product tagging, and other platform-specific tools.   Analyze and optimize social commerce efforts to maximize conversions and revenue.   Social Listening, Audience Insights, & Community Management:   Leverage social listening tools to monitor brand mentions, customer sentiment, and trending conversations, turning insights into actionable strategies.   Identify emerging trends, topics, and cultural moments to ensure Jockey’s content is timely, relevant, and engaging.   Content Development & Campaign Management: Oversee the creation of innovative content, including photo, video, and written assets, to build brand awareness and foster community engagement.   Partner with creative and marketing teams to execute integrated campaigns that support brand objectives and product launches.   Ensure content is optimized for each platform, aligning with trends, audience preferences, and performance insights.   Performance Optimization & Analytics: Track and analyze social media performance metrics to assess campaign success and inform future strategies.   Provide regular performance reports and recommendations to key stakeholders, translating data into actionable insights.   Optimize campaigns in real-time by using data-driven strategies, boosting high-performing posts, and refining audience targeting.   Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment:  Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, e-commerce, brand, and creative, to align social media efforts with broader business goals.   Work with external partners, influencers, and agencies to amplify Jockey’s presence and reach.   Innovation & Industry Trends: Stay ahead of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure Jockey remains an industry leader.   Test and implement new social media tools, features, and platforms to expand Jockey’s reach and relevance.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of experience in digital and social media marketing, with proven expertise in directing social media strategies and teams. Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving a team culture of collaboration and performance. Deep understanding of social media platform management, influencer marketing, and content creation processes. Demonstrated experience in developing channel strategies and executing social media and influencer campaigns that drive business results. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions. Passion for brand-building and a deep understanding of audience engagement. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
