In this role you will:Lead and Innovate: Drive the design and development of highly scalable, efficient ad retrieval and delivery systems that ensure optimal performance and ultra-low latency.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, set ambitious targets, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional results.
Algorithm Optimization: Develop and refine algorithms for bidding strategies, pricing models, pacing, and real-time decision-making in ad auctions, directly impacting revenue and customer experience.
Trendspotting and Innovation: Stay on top of industry trends and new technologies in ad tech, integrating innovative approaches into our platform to maintain a competitive edge.
Talent Cultivation: Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within your team, mentoring and developing engineering talent to their full potential.
Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with product management, data science, and other teams to align on goals and deliver end-to-end solutions that delight our advertising partners.
Experience and Qualifications:Extensive Engineering Experience: 10+ years in software engineering, specifically in advertising technology and auction systems.
Leadership Expertise: 5+ years of people management experience, including 3 years managing teams of managers.
AdTech Knowledge: Deep understanding of advertising technologies, such as real-time bidding, ad exchanges, and programmatic advertising.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in building and delivering scalable, high-performance advertising systems.
Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of software development processes and software design principles.
Analytical and Data-driven: Experience with machine learning, analytics, and data-driven decision-making in advertising technology.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education: Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $221,000.00 to $309,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $353,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
