As a Director of Software Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading and transforming one of the critical areas within our global digital ecosystem: provider-facing applications. How You Will Lead

Inspire and Develop Teams: Build, mentor, and lead a team of managers and technical leaders across globally distributed teams, primarily based in India, Sydney and San Diego. Foster growth, innovation, and a sense of ownership at every level.Proactively Identify Opportunities: Take the initiative to explore and uncover potential enhancements in technology, systems, and processes, empowering your teams to deliver impactful solutions that anticipate business needs and exceed expectations.Drive Change and Strategic Alignment: Lead the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and practices that support business and engineering goals. Align teams with strategic priorities and foster cross-functional collaboration.Ensure Technical Excellence: Design and promote API patterns to drive interoperability and seamless integration across the ResMed product suite. Advocate for system design and architecture that prioritizes scalability and security.Champion Data-Driven Decisions: Empower teams to utilize data to guide decisions, optimize performance, and enhance user satisfaction.Effective Communication: Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment and understanding across stakeholders.Promote Collaboration Across Functions: Partner with global stakeholders, including product management, customer support, and professional services, to deliver value-driven solutions.

Let’s Talk About You

Proven Leadership: 10+ years of experience managing and building digital products and applications in production environments, with a strong focus on leading leaders, building cohesive teams, and delivering results.Organization: Demonstrated success and understanding of how to organize and manage geographically dispersed teams and driving cross-functional collaboration at scale.Technical Expertise: Experience designing and managing distributed systems at a global scale, including microservices, serverless architectures, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).Mentorship and Development: A track record of mentoring and guiding teams, helping individuals grow in their careers and achieve their potential.Business-Engineering Balance: Ability to navigate and balance complex engineering challenges with business needs in a fast-paced, privacy-first environment.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with best practices in regulatory and privacy-focused settings.
