The Director of Stock Plan Services (SPS) Digital Product Management will lead the digital strategy, execution, and the product and solution teams that support our Stock Plan Services (SPS) businesses. This includes supporting the participant, stock plan administrator, client service teams and call center experiences and managing the digital channels and platforms for these key client and user segments.  

 

In this role, you and your team will be responsible for shaping the product and platform strategies and leading the digital transformation required to support the SPS business growth.  

 

The product management team is responsible for defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of our products. We work, think and approach problems differently than your traditional financial services firm, and we drive to change both how Schwab operates and how the industry serves the stock plan industry. 

 

Lead and define the strategy, business case and multi-year roadmap to transform the SPS digital platforms and products to a modernized state and integrated with broader Schwab digital experience. Lead a digital product team setting the example for agile practices and iterative development, delivering participant, stock plan administrator, and client service team value at every iteration. Lead and collaborate with SPS stakeholders to develop multi-year digital roadmaps and balance competing priorities. Implement lean portfolio management practices to ensure a continuous flow of value while supporting long term digital channel objectives. Key digital channels & platforms in scope for this leader and their team includes SPS Participant Channels including Equity Award Center (EAC) Web & Mobile, SPS Recordkeeping platforms including EquiView, SPS B2B Channels, SPS Reporting and Analytics including SPS External Data Marketplace, and the SPS Rep Desktop. Work closely with key partners from across Schwab including other client facing teams, and technology teams Support business goals to grow and scale, presenting to external prospects and clients as needed to showcase our digital strategy and capabilities.  Providing thought leadership in innovation and new feature build to drive the growth of the offer.  Delivering strategic and actionable insights, competitive analysis, and market research to inform product experience and growth.  What you have

Required:

 

A minimum of 15 years in a Platform, Product Management and Strategy leadership role within Financial Services, ideally with Employee Equity experience. A minimum of 5+ years of direct people leadership, i.e., directly responsible for hiring, performance appraisals, etc. A demonstrated track record of execution of large, complex platform transformation initiatives. Candidate should be well versed in creating strong product requirements, product documentation, implementing platform health metrics and implementing a scalable, healthy product  Track record of successful collaboration with key cross-functional partners to advance the SPS Digital Team’s objectives, including Marketing, Technology, Legal & Compliance, Risk among others.  Extremely strong client relationship management and negotiation skills  5+ years of experience managing a significant budget and hiring plan  Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.  Strong emotional intelligence/maturity and senior level executive presence.  Experienced in effectively assessing, selecting, and developing talent for the firm;  An undergraduate degree  

Preferred: 

Advanced degree preferred.
