POSITION SUMMARY:

Director of Strategic Expansion will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and leading the implementation of new business opportunities across diverse regions. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our organization's growth objectives, conducting regulatory research, performing needs assessments, and overseeing large-scale initiatives that will drive the agency's future success.

Lead the development and execution of strategic expansion initiatives across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall growth objectives.Collaborate with leadership to explore new business opportunities and identify potential service lines, partnerships, and markets. Conduct in-depth market research and needs assessments to guide decision-making for new business ventures. Oversee regulatory approval processes, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and standards in each new market. Manage cross-functional teams, project timelines, and budgets to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and potential business partners. Support organizational growth by identifying and mitigating risks associated with expansion initiatives. Travel as needed to expansion regions to support field operations, establish local partnerships, and oversee project implementation.


Requirements

  

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare  Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or project management within healthcare or a related industry.Strong leadership and supervisory experience with a proven track record of managing teams and driving cross-functional projects.Experience with regulatory research, market analysis, and needs assessments.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.High degree of flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to travel regularly (up to 50% of the time).Must have a valid Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle to meet travel requirements.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

Project Management      Certification (e.g., PMP or similar) is a plus, ensuring the candidate is skilled in managing large, complex projects.Experience in Regulatory Compliance: Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting to ensure initiatives are financially viable.Strategic Visioning: The ability to think strategically about long-term growth while balancing operational needs and short-term goals.Change Management Experience: Proven ability to manage organizational change and lead teams through transitions smoothly.Technology Savvy: Familiarity with health technology solutions, including EMR systems and remote care technologies, would be an advantage.

Salary Description $100,000 and $160,000 annually, D.O.E
