Director of Strategy Planning & Insights

Position Summary

1. Analyze external and internal business environment along with current business status to strategically identify critical issues and develop responsive strategies to set the course of action.
2. Develop action plans to strengthen competitiveness based on assessment of internal competencies and processes.
3. Communicate strategic vision globally and execute high priority tasks to support top management.

Role and Responsibilities

1. [Analysis of business environment] Manage to sense risks preemptively by researching and analyzing industry, technology, consumer trends and economic and political environment changes and implement analyzing how these factors will impact on our company.

2. [Identification of critical Issues] Manage to examine risk factors based on internal and external environmental changes and implement identifying areas and issues which need to be addressed strategically.

3. [Development of response strategy] Manage to set up a mid- to long-term change directions like upgrading internal business capability and innovating processes and implement establishing measures to strengthen competitiveness by stage.

4. [Support to CEO] Manage activities to prepare messages which are shared globally and across the business organization(globally and/or across the company and etc.) and to address urgent internal and external tasks and to support CEO's management activities.

Skills and Qualifications

• Has broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways

• Actively solves complicated issues by analyzing situations or data even if it seems like there is no solution

• Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments

• May supervise the activities of others

• Generally requires a minimum 12 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 10 years and a Master's degree, or a PhD with 7 years experience
