Scope of Responsibility:
To oversee, coordinate and manage sourcing and optimization for the business unit supply chain network. This includes direct responsibility for the effective and efficient sourcing of product across all producing facilities (internal and external), product accountability, manage and coordinate optimization plans and execution activity of the network and working cross functionally with the other business leaders to ensure the business unit achieves the expected results.
Essential Duties:
Ensure the right team is in place to meet both the daily business needs to operate the supply chain effectively and the long term need to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business. Development of a culture in Supply Chain that places safety first, drives engagement at every level and embraces diversity, inclusion and belonging.Lead and oversee the synchronization of the supply chain network to ensure worry free supply focused on effective coordination of: manufacturing scheduling and sequencing, distribution flow, transportation scheduling and sales flow expectations. Manage the effective and efficient sourcing of product for the facility, internal and external. This includes sourcing systems activity, inventory ordering and management for items required have this process throughout the Business Unit (BU).Partner with manufacturing, Finance, and the Sales team to determine optimal sourcing strategy to achieve Lowest Landed Cost (LLC) within BU.Lead the supply chain service and sourcing optimization team in Supply Chain Excellence. Focus on the development and implementation of plans to standardize and optimize processes.Select, in conjunction with other Business Units, a Warehouse Management System (WMS).Roll out WMS to ensure effective application and performance.Drive and lead product accountability initiatives across the business working with cross functional teams to ensure visibility and actions taken to improve.Drive On-Time-In-Full performance through the development of annual plans for increasing the efficiency and action plans of the supply chain, ensuring accountability within the team, monitoring actual results, and making adjustments in the plan as necessary.Instill a “Lean” practices culture, founded on a Continuous Improvement mindset to eliminate non-value adding activities.Monitor and report performance metrics relative to cost and service level and make adjustments as necessary to lower cost and meet service expectationsEnsure the effective execution of company initiatives including new methods of distribution, new products, and seasonal business requirements.Take on special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a technical field a plus.
Experience:
10 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain functions, with at least 4 years in a management position.Experience in the Enclosures or Energy Storage industry preferred.Experience in engineer-to-order products preferred

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and people skills.Project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution.Progressive software skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Strong analytic background in problem solving (mathematical, statistical, root cause analysis).Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong teamwork orientation.Cross-functional leadership with an ability to influence people to a shared vision.Possess a “can do” attitude and believes anything is possible.Able to work independently and “roll up your sleeves” to make things happen.High intensity team player who thrives in a fast paced, high intensity, dynamic environment.Constantly questions the way things are done in a constructive manner and thrives on change that improves results.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk or attending meetings.Occasional travel to manufacturing sites, trade shows, or client meetings may be required, involving walking, climbing stairs, and navigating varied environments.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for transporting marketing materials and equipment.
