Director of Supply Chain
**Job Summary:** Under the general direction of the Lutheran Health Network Market Supply Chain Officer, plans, organizes and manages operational and personnel functions involved in the receipt, stocking, and distribution of Lutheran Health Network supplies, linen and equipment, as well as the processing of all related charges, consistent with Network goals and objectives and regulations impacting inventory management in an acute healthcare facility. Manages surplus assets and record storage programs for Network facilities. **Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications** **Licensure** : Current Indiana Chauffeurs License; must meet present insurance carrier's insurability guidelines related to driving hospital vehicles. **Experience** : Four to five years materials management experience; previous experience in a leadership role. **Education** : Bachelor's Degree a plus, in a related field. **Registration/Certification** : APEX Senior Certified a plus. **Job Knowledge & Skills** : Demonstrates in-depth working knowledge of inventory management and supply distribution processes, as well as all applicable regulations. Requires knowledge of management theory and practice to effectively lead unit staff. Requires strong analytical and organizational skills in order to monitor Network operating efficiency, compliance with hospital policies and procedures, establish and maintain efficient operating systems for the maintenance of inventory levels, and distribution process, understand and respond effectively to all related customer needs, as well as processing and reconciliation of all related charges. Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, necessary to interact effectively with all internal and external unit customers, as needed.
