This role is critical for us to succeed as an approachable, luxury destination offering best-in-class hospitality and exciting amenities for all. In addition to helping us get work done, as a manager at Station Casinos, you are expected to support, develop, and inspire the people you are responsible for because we believe in a people-first approach. 

 

If you are willing to take on this responsibility, then check out what you will be doing.  Your role requires several outcomes or goals to be met. You are expected to meet the following financial, guest, and employee KPIs that are essential to our success. 

Responsibilities include complete authority within all gaming departments under the auspices of the General Manager. Responsible for all rules, policies and procedures related to all gaming and casino credit activity, and ensuring that all shifts are consistent in adhering to the same rules, policies and procedures. Conduct meetings with all gaming department heads on a timely basis to review budgets and budgets compared to actual.  Conduct meetings of other gaming-related matters. Supervise all gaming schedules to ensure the accommodation of casino Guests at all times, but not to have an excess number of Team Members during slow periods. Analyze, on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, all gaming percentages. Review all complimentaries and airfares to ascertain justification as to their effectiveness in contributing to the overall profitability of the Durango Casino and Resort. Work in direct cooperation with the Surveillance and Internal Control Departments to ensure asset protection and the continued profitability of Station Casinos.

 

As a Director, you are also expected to be there for your team, enable and empower them to perform, own your operation or shift, and build caring and trusting relationships with your people. You must also engage and communicate with your team, elevate performance through coaching, develop your talent, and champion collaboration within your team and across the business.

In a perfect world, we would also like you to come with:

 

At least ten (10) years successful experience in all phases of gaming operations. Demonstrated experience and ability to manage all table games. Ability to work any shift or hours.
