A growing biopharma Kforce client is seeking a CPA, Technical Accounting guru to join their team in the metro Boston, MA area. Duties: * Manage the review of new accounting pronouncements and provide technical accounting advice * Evaluate disclosure requirements for complex accounting transactions for the 10-Q/10-K and related footnotes * Assist in implementing accounting policies and procedures for SEC/GAAP or SOX 404 changes/needs * Maintain the SOX compliance framework and ensure SOX program is executed effectively * Be the point of contact for external auditors regarding technical accounting matters * Prepare and present technical accounting documentation and analyses as required during audits * Conduct research on emerging accounting standards * Supervise the outsourced Internal Audit and SOX consultants
