Director for Ticket Operations will oversee ticket operations for all events, both athletics and cultural events, held at Utah State University.
This Director manages the relationship with representatives of Paciolan, collaborates frequently with Utah State Athletics and provides outstanding customer service. The Director should have a strong working knowledge and understanding of all NCAA rules and regulations regarding compliance issues.
Responsibilities Provide a superior level of customer service to ensure a positive experience for all event patrons in order to promote Utah State University, Athletics and the Caine College of the Arts.Lead and supervise (5) full time and (20+) part time ticket office staff.Oversee ticket operations, including renewals, allocations, and seat improvements for single and season ticket holders.Oversee all ticketed events including athletic events, concerts, conventions, performances, trade shows, corporate, and other special events.Set up season manifests, events, and ticket inventory within the ticketing systems. Manage the online ticket system: account manager, payments, payment plans, print-at-home tickets, e-ticket delivery, PID entry, and mobile ticketing.Primary liaison with ticket system vendors (Paciolan) to ensure all hardware and software are working efficiently for staff and customer use.Oversight of internal controls and procedures for Ticket Operations, including auditing procedures and reports, allocation and distribution of tickets, ensuring segregation of duties, safeguarding of funds, posting of batches, bank deposits, revolving cash fund, ticket system access, voiding tickets, and transfers.Prepare and order ticket stock and oversee printing.Utilize and maintain all ticket office technology including sales software, validation scanners, credit card machines, and printers to maximize ticket office efficiency.Collaborate with Information Technology staff to install and maintain ticket equipment, computers, and phones for all ticket office areas.Manage ticket inventory, sales, allocations, and distribution of tickets.Oversee game day box office ticket operations for all sports including overseeing game settlement reports.Supervise all hosted NCAA postseason-ticketed events for all sports.Manage away game and bowl game ticketing.Serve as the Ticket Office representative for away football games, bowl games, men's basketball tournaments, and other NCAA events as needed.Collaborate with respective marketing and development office to design ticket applications, season tickets, and other promotional materials.Manage data imports and revenue reports for accounts payable.Position requires working some evenings and weekends, some travel with teams, as well as other related duties as assigned by supervisors. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.Demonstrated knowledge and experience with complex systems and technology such as printers, scanners, or digital ticketing software.Preferred Qualifications:
