Budgeted Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000

Position Summary:
The Parking Spot’s newly created Director of Treasury role will be responsible for managing the company’s treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, shuttle bus financing, investment management, and ensuring efficient internal controls related to the treasury function. The role will also involve fostering and maintaining banking relationships to optimize liquidity and support the financial health of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash Flow Management & Reporting:
Oversee daily cash flow and liquidity, ensuring the company has adequate cash to meet operational needs and future value-add projects. Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to support decision-making. Manage cash concentration, cash disbursements, and ensure timely payments among ownership groups. Prepare regular reports and analysis on cash flow, liquidity, investments, and debt positions for senior management to assist in financial decision-making.Shuttle Bus Financing:
Manage and arrange financing for shuttle bus acquisitions, ensuring the most favorable terms possible. Maintain relationships with lenders and monitor lease and loan agreements. Analyze financing alternatives and provide recommendations to the CFO. Collaborate closely with our operations team.Banking Relationships:
Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions. Negotiate and monitor fees and services for banking accounts and credit card processing services. Oversee and manage banking services such as lockbox, wire transfers, and ACH.Fixed Asset Management:
Monitor and manage the company’s fixed asset portfolio in accordance with the investment policy. Provide regular reports on investment performance and market conditions. Work with private equity ownership group as necessary to optimize returns on excess cash, as well as provide internal return calculations on each property to ownership groups.Debt Management:
Assist in managing the company’s debt portfolio, including repayment schedules and covenant compliance. Monitor interest rate exposure and recommend strategies to mitigate risk.Risk Management, Controls & Compliance:
Help monitor the company’s exposure to financial risk, including interest rate and foreign exchange risk. Implement risk mitigation strategies, including hedging if necessary. Collaborate with internal auditors to assess and improve financial controls. Ensure robust internal controls are in place over treasury operations to safeguard company assets. Develop and enforce policies and procedures for treasury operations. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including financial reporting and tax requirements. Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies to fulfill reporting obligations.Team Leadership & Development:
Provide leadership and guidance to treasury staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Staff currently includes a Financial Reporting Accountant and a Cash & Sales Manager. Train and mentor all team members on best practices in cash and treasury management.Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in treasury management, finance, or related roles. Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, banking, and debt financing. Experience with investment management, risk management, and financial analysis. Familiarity with internal controls and compliance requirements. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage external banking relationships and internal management team. Advanced proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. Strong financial acumen and understanding of corporate finance principles.______
